Hello there,
We have decided to implement some changes to the Ukraine Conflict Monitor newsletter.
The most unpleasant news is that we must increase the price from USD6.14 to USD7.5 a month (from USD61.4 to USD75 per year) from 2MAY. Stripe’s rise in processing fees primarily causes this decision.
In return, we will share our Scribble Map, which contains frontlines, order of battles, and all sorts of interesting stuff.
Secondly, as you may know, we run a separate service that provides daily updates on the war. This product will be discontinued on 1MAY, and we will solely focus on Substack updates.
Thirdly, the current updates are very text-heavy. Updates are always +30 pages long. We would like to change this and focus more on visuals. The same data, such as attacks on specific parts of the front, could be presented in a more digestible way. We will thus make some changes to make reports shorter and easier to read. With the recent US intel leak, we have plenty of ideas on how to improve the product. But, if you don’t like it, we will go back to the current format.
Fourthly, from now, we will enable 7-day free trials.
The first three changes will be implemented with the 8MAY update. Free trials are already on.
Please, let us know whether there is something you’d like to see or read about. We are always looking for suggestions and feedback.
Thanks a lot,
Konrad Muzyka
Hi Konrad, great news about the more visual form and the map. One thing I like with the current form is that you can listen to it using Substack app, or some text to speech software - I hope text will be still understandable without looking at the graphs. Thank you for your great work!
