Satellite imagery analysis - Baranovichi Air Base

Today’s UCM issue will be published a bit later than usual, around 11 PM Warsaw time.

In the meantime, we acquired some satellite imagery we would like to share. Previous rules apply, please do not publicly share what you will see below.

61st Fighter Air Base, Baranovichy, Brest Region, Belarus

Airbus imagery acquired 20MAY shows a decreased presence of  Su-27s by 3, and MiG-29s by 1, compared to imagery from 19 MAR.

Moreover, imagery shows the departure of all stationed Su-30s and the arrival of
8 Mi-24s and 4 Mi-8s at the airport.

The change in the number and types of aircraft could suggest a rotation of the unit stationed at the air base.
