Update from Rochan

Hello guys,

I would like to share some exciting news.

This week Rochan welcomed Ivan Torres to our team. He is a well-known analyst who has covered the war in Ukraine from the start and published many important operational-strategic insights. His maps are also great. Many of you probably know him as The Jomini of the West on Twitter.

More importantly, he is bringing in 25+ years of expertise in military strategy, all-source intelligence, and wargame development. Together we will focus on new analytical projects, assessing Russian military developments and regional dynamics.

Indeed, we plan to launch new analytical projects in 2025 that will examine Russian force reconstitution, reform, modernization, military economy, lessons learned from the war, and their impact on the Russian force structure and posturing. We are, therefore, already looking at how the Russian Armed Forces could look after the war in Ukraine.

As Ivan continues to publish his maps on Twitter, we will republish them here, which means we are returning to publishing analyses on Substack.
